Dr. Lee is the Founder and CEO of Eone Diagnomics Genome Center (EDGC). He has an extensive background in genomics including past experience with GenomeCare, Sequenom and Genaissance Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Lee is a highly regarded expert with extensive global experience in the application of genomics to the evolving field of preventative health and wellness. He also has extensive experience in the life sciences field including serving in a research capacity for biotech, pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies; with specific expertise in genomics, pharmacogenomics, bioinformatics and diagnostic development. Dr. Lee conducted his post-doctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, and received a Ph.D. from City of Hope National Medical Center and Beckman Research Institute.
Michael has an impressive track record in the still emerging consumer genomics market including developing workflows, managing pipelines and working closely with regulatory bodies. Prior to GPH Michael was the VP of Business Development for DNA SEQ an early stage genomics company that developed a machine learning algorithm, which was also the first application of commercial quantum computing in genomics. Preceding that he was the VP of Business Development for Diagnomics, an early stage bioinformatics company that developed a genome presentation software solutions to guide the development of new therapeutic targets and novel diagnostic tools based on genomics. Michael has had a long career in early stage technology including being the VP of Business Development of the Girvan Institute Technology, an early-stage technology incubator with locations in Los Angeles and Silicon Valley.
